Guilherme Giolo

I am a PhD Candidate and lecturer at Erasmus University Rotterdam. My work traces how meaning and subjectivity emerge and mutate in and through internet culture. I am particularly interested in how individuals use memes, internet aesthetics, and other digital cultural practices to orient themselves and make sense of their lives in an era of fast and profound transformation.
